Retro Bombshell
This is one of my favorite looks for Spring / Summer 2012. I have always been obsessed with the sexiness of the 50's and 60's and am so excited to see this trend hitting big this year! I love the neon, bold lips, the classic cat-eye sunglasses, and the sophisticated-sexy head wraps. Heres a collection of items to get you feeling hotter than Marilyn Monroe!
DIY Hair Accessories
Hey guys! So I really need and wanted to do a fun DIY post, and i got caught up in crafting this weekend, so sorry I am a little late.
I am trying really hard to grow out my hair, and I am in the in-between stage right now. You know, the stage where its too long to just leave alone, but not long enough to do anything super cute (like the fun updos I see all over pinterest). I was thinking and browsing the web, and I found a great way to dress up your do, and the best part is, its easy and can be done just using old clothes around the house.
Here are a few I made over the weekend:

Trend Alert: Floral Prints
One thing i noticed from all the runway pictures at this years New York fashion week was Floral Prints. I have seen them also slowly popping up at various shops, and I am reading that this is going to be a big trend for Spring and Summer 2012. Florals are a tad scary to me, as they tend to remind me of the hideous jumpers my mom used to sew me in elementary school ( paired with big, ugly perms and saddle shoes). As I have been reading more and more about this new trend, I found that its actually not that scary when done right. To keep the trend from looking reminiscent of the 90's, pair with solid basics, but don't be afraid to experiment with color for a day time look. I put together two collections featuring a cute pair of floral skinnies from Top Shop. One night time look, and one day time look.
