Spring Glow Makeup Tutorial

Spring is upon us, and one of the hottest trends in makeup right now is fresh faced, sun kissed glow. On the red carpet this look is super popular, and can often be seen on such celebs as Lauren Conrad, Jennifer Lopez & Kim Kardashian. This look is simple to pull off, and can leave you looking fresh faced and vibrant. Follow the tutorial below to re create this look at home!

Skin:
1. Prep the skin with a brightening scrub. This will remove all dead and dull skin, revealing the fresh skin thats underneath. (Aveeno skin brightening daily scrub $7.99)
2. Use a beauty balm to even out skin, add moisture, and protect from the harsh UV rays. (Garnier beauty balm $11.99)

Face:
3. Apply a liquid bronzer to the cheeks to give a sun kissed glow. To dark? mix with some moisturizer to soften the look. (Estee Lauder Bronzed Goddess Liquid Bronzer $29)
4. A peach toned, shimmery blush will give a nice healthy glow when applied to the apples of the cheeks. (Nars blush in Deep Throat $28)
5. Use a highlighter pen around the eyes, and to highlight cheekbones. This will give an added glowing effect to the skin, and will accentuate cheekbones. (Yves Saint Laurent Radiant Touch Touche Éclat $40)

Eyes:
6. A brown, eye highlighting pencil around the eyelids will brighten and draw attention to your eyes
(E.L.F Highlighting eyeliner $3.00)
7. Apply a volumizing mascara to the lashes for an extra pop (Buxom mascara in blackest black $18)

Finish The Look:
8. Finish the look off with a makeup setting spray that will also add a dewy finish to your skin (Urban Decay Dew Me $29)
9. A creamy, pink lipstick will give you soft, romantic, kissable lips. (MAC Cremesheen in Shy Girl $15)

Makeup Breakdown: Naturally Gorgeous

Has anyone seen the new Allure cover featuring Kim Kardashian? I must say, although not a huge Kardashian follower, I was stunned by the cover. I have never seen her look so gorgeous! She totally doesn't need the heavy makeup I normally see her photographed in, she looks amazing with this sun kissed, beach worthy glow. Kudos to Allure! This inspired me to put together a collection of makeup to show you guys how to get this Au Natural look just in time for summer!
